Understanding the situation
Frasier, a 500-resident life plan community in Colorado, had data stored in more than a dozen separate systems. Its disparate reporting process required substantial time and effort from many team members. In addition to being time consuming, the system couldn’t provide the organization with the data insights and analysis it needed to thoroughly understand its operations and glean how processes might be improved.
Exploring the challenge
Frasier was interested in implementing dynamic and comprehensive software that could handle, merge, and analyze its substantial data — but knew it needed outside experience to support its effort. The organization reached out to CLA’s data analytics and automation team, which works with organizations across many industries and sizes to determine the most suitable software to fit their specific needs.
After researching Frasier’s needs, CLA digital suggested Microsoft Fabric, an all-in-one cloud analytics tool. Microsoft Fabric includes secure data storage, automated data flows, and reporting and analytics.
CLA incorporated Frasier’s many data systems — including financial, clinical, labor, work orders, point of sale, and customer relationship management — into Microsoft Fabric and created an extensive data lakehouse as a unified platform for storing, managing, and analyzing data.
CLA digital is working collaboratively with Frasier’s staff to create customized reporting and data analytics to provide insights.
Achieving results
With its significantly upgraded data system, Frasier anticipates saving many hours of staff time and having easy access to key performance indicators and other important information. Improved reporting will allow for better strategic decision-making, which can happen quicker and with more impact thanks to the readily available, in-depth information.
Recognizing the compelling value from these new tools, Frasier continues to replace legacy systems with modern tools to further increase productivity and enhance operations.
