Understanding the situation

Advanced Fraud Solutions (AFS) is a provider of anti-fraud software for banks and credit unions. A requirement to quickly adopt Sage Intacct as its financial platform introduced new operational demands, a tight timeline, and immediate pressure.

The business needed to:

  • Implement a new entity within a pre-existing Sage Intacct environment quickly
  • Configure the contracts module
  • Connect Intacct with Salesforce, where all existing contracts lived

Initial support from another firm stalled due to gaps in contracts‑module knowledge and an unexpected absence during a critical phase of go‑live. With a narrow window to complete the transition, AFS turned to CLA for help.

Exploring the challenge

CLA faced a compressed timeline — roughly two months — to help AFS get live. The team began by stabilizing the Sage Intacct environment and standing up the contracts module. The scope expanded as CLA stepped in to lead Salesforce work previously handled by a third-party.

Key focus areas included:

  • Designing and completing Salesforce flows to support automation
  • Enabling data movement so contracts in Salesforce could populate Sage Intacct accurately
  • Supporting the full walk‑forward process for contracts and revenue recognition into live operations
